Adding Hotspots

Connecting scenes for the viewer to navigate through the Panotour involves a right-click action. To get started, right-click on anywhere within the scene to open the hotspot menu.

There are five type of hotspots you may create:

1. Short Text – a short line of text hovering above the hotspot icon when the viewer interacts with it.
2. Long Text – a window that appears on viewer interaction containing a title and text on top (covering) of the hotspot icon, which may be closed by click the X icon on the top right corner.
3. Image Plain – a static image that appears on viewer interaction on top (covering) of the hotspot icon, which may be closed by being clicked on.
4. Image Text – a window that appears on viewer interaction just like Long Text, but also including an image after the title and before the text.
5. Scene – a navigational arrow that can be rotated to any desired angle, when interacted, brings the viewer to the target scene.

All image and text type hotspots will automatically close when the viewer clicks on anywhere within the Panotour outside of the hotspot windows.

Within the window, any hotspots that are visible within the scene may be easily deleted if mistakes were made. To do so, simply click on the hotspot, hover the mouse cursor over the hotspot and click on the Delete icon that appears. A prompt will appear for confirmation to prevent accidental deletion.

The Panotour will be automatically updated every time a hotspot is added or deleted.
